The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for the forge.abcd.harvard.edu server (http://forge.abcd.harvard.edu/):

Information gathering
All access to the site is logged. Access to hosted components and privilege use of same may be logged as appropriate

Log Analysis
Web access is logged using a Google Analytics code embedded in the footer of each rendered page. The data collected is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. The admin team also facilitate Apache log collection by the UIS NSS.

Auditing
The Forge Admin team uses the information in the logs to generate aggregate statistical reports. Logs are retained on a temporary basis and then deleted completely from our systems. We reserve the right to audit the server and hosted projects on request for compliance purposes.

Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

The Forge server contains multiple independently administered projects serving the Harvard community and may link to outside the "forge.abcd.harvard.edu" domain. The Forge Admin team is not responsible for the privacy practices of hosted projects or the content of linked Web sites.
